I am a Senior Technical Recruiter at Systems and Programming Solutions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
We have a client that recently had to lay off quite a few members of their development team. Now, whenever they have development opportunities, they will be outsourcing that work to our firm.
We are looking for experienced Baan Developers to put in front of this client to either work as a consultant handling short term projects as they become available OR to join our permanent team at SPSI to do Baan Development work on site for this client as needed AND work on other projects that get outsourced to us as well. This individual would be utilized in many programming capacities not just Baan. As our client needs change, the scope of projects will change as well.
Here is a description of what we are looking for:
BAAN Developer
We have opportunities available for an experienced BAAN Developer. Responsibilities consist of planning, developing, implementing and supporting systems which are of high complexity and integration. Capability must include problem identification, resolution and modifications to code with Baan application, tools and programming language. Duties to be performed include: Support the current Baan systems by troubleshooting reported system problems to determine root cause, perform code changes to the current system to correct defects and provide functional and technical expertise and guidance on the aspects of system development, design and modifications.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and at least 5 years related Baan software and systems design or development experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementations in a manufacturing environment. Experience with the Triton Tools package of the BaaN software essential. Experience with Triton 3.1, Baan IV and Baan V applications preferred.

MQ Message Flow
Scripting
Library/DLL
Forms/Screens
Other qualifications include:
Oracle Forms and Reports (9ias or greater)
E2 4
COGNOS
MQ/Websphere
Oracle AQ
Candidates must possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
