Job Description/Requirements - Baan Support Analyst

Contract Employment 3 to 6 months or longer.
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Must have a current working knowledge of Baan IVc2 or Baan IVc4 and be able to perform the following tasks with minimal instruction:

Business System Administration:
• Provide application and troubleshooting support to end users
• Perform Daily EDI Processes
• Develop customized queries, reports and forms for end users using Baan or Business Objects
• Work with Baan Support for problem resolution
• Baan Job Maintenance setup and support
• Coordinate and work with Business Systems Analyst, Oracle DBA and Unix Admin as necessary
• Develop and run Exchange scripts as necessary
• Coordination and continuation of Archiving effort

Operations Maintenance Responsibilities:
• Tools Maintenance - User, Device and Job setup and maintenance
• Daily monitoring of system application and error logs
• Version and Patch updates as required
• Table maintenance as required
• Assist in implementing new business processes and applications
• Operations Documentation
• End-User Documentation

Presently Working on BaaN IV ERP System with HEG Limited. My Domain Area is Distribution and have the experience of 1 full cycle implementation of BaaN IV in HEG.As a software professional, I developed various functional solutions in terms of sessions, reports as identified by the functional Experts. These Customizations are not only as per HEG specific Applications but are generic in nature and can be used in other industries too. Also Customized Completely Exports Module, which is not a standard feature of BaaN IV.
