Immediate opening for a Baan Business / Financial Analyst at a company in Alabama. Actual location of work would require travel to Kansas City, KS. 5-plus years of experience desired. Minor strength in the distribution and manufacturing modules required; major strength in the Financial System of Baan; in particular we need experience with complex financial integrations within the Baan system. Unix environment; Version 4.C.4.
Specific requirements include:
· Assist in defining, testing, training, implementing, and supporting the financial functional areas within the BaaN ERP system. This would include General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
· Assist in delivering the tools and information necessary to improve and optimize Financial processes. A common-sense, clear-headed, and practical approach should be employed when suggesting best practices for this environment.
Translate financial, distribution, and manufacturing business needs into technical requirements. Document business processes and requirements within the BaaN distribution and manufacturing functional areas (as it relates to the Financial integration piece). Assist in defining best practices and developing/changing business processes around system capabilities. Coordinate, communicate and implement system change requirements

· Work with state-of-the-art UML tools to document requirements for new development both in Baan and a Web-environment.

Work with the project manager to coordinate, communicate and implement system change requirements. Make recommendations for business and process improvements.
