Hi,
We are a Dubai based Manufacturing Organisation using BaaN IV / BaaN Cable for the past 6 years. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a IT Technical/BaaN support Engineer, with the following background:
Essential requirements: Graduate in Science/Engineering, Exposure to Windows NT/2000 administration, Network Admin, MS Exchange 5.5/2000 Administration, Desktop support skills, Basic Routing/Switching exposure, BaaN Administration/ Customisation skills.
Desirable requirements: Exposure to Unix Administration (Sun Solaris 9), Database Management/Admin skills (Informix IDS 7.31), Exposure to BaaN Admin/ Customisation (BaaN 4c4), BaaN Functional Knowledge, knowledge of At least One programming Language like VB etc.
Preference will be given to people from Existing BaaN user sites. We are looking for people with All-round IT Technical/BaaN Technical knowledge. Please note that this is a hands-on-job which involves interaction with end users and solving their IT related technical problems, in addition to administering the IT infrastructure of the Company. This is a long-term job with good growth prospects.
