This position is permanent and based in Dubai and comes with the usual tax free benefits.

We require an experienced Baan 5.0 systems administrator to look after our distributed Baan 5.0 systems throughout the middle east and europe (Dubai, Cairo, Saudi Arabia. Lebanon, Holland) and next year Qatar, Oman and America. The systems run on Unix/Oracle and Sequel with EDI connections and Decision Manger mated with the Cognos suite for business intelligence.

The implemented model includes DEm, sales, product configuration, order based planning, shop floor control scheduling and execution, purchasing, full finance including fixed assets and our single site reporting tool is Crystal Reports

Main responsibilities are:

Maintenance of company VRC structures, company creation and ongoing maintenance, testing and implementation of service packs etc.., backup and disaster recovery, control of centralised data entry, management of support desk staff, management of the Gognos business intelligence system and report writing staff
