Title: Enterprise Wide Programmer/Analyst
Location: US-CA-San Jose
Responsibilities:
As an Enterprise Wide Programmer/Analyst, you will work in the dynamic IS Applications Development Group to develop, implement, and support the Corporate Application Systems catering to the specific needs of the Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, and Operations Departments across various locations of Altera. You will work with the Applications Development teams and Business Analysts in Penang and San Jose, USA to understand the business requirements, create system documents, design, develop, and implement solutions to meet the customer needs. You will be responsible for configuring, coding, testing, documenting, supporting, and implementing enhancements to the systems supported by the Group.
Qualifications include a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience. At least 4 years of experience with analysis and programming experience in implementation of BaaN, focusing on areas of Finance and Distribution is required. Experience with BaaN tools, 4GL Programming, Relational DB (Oracle, SQL Server), Client / Server Software Architecture is required. You must have strong problem solving and analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and focus on excellent customer support. Additional experience in Tibco, UNIX shell scripting, Web development, and PeopleSoft is a definite plus.
