We are a group of manufacturing companies servicing the construction industry. We are based in Miami, Florida and have a permanent position for someone that can become our BaaN functional support GURU.

We are seeking for a person that has BaaN expertise in Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Tools - in that order. But more important, we are looking for someone that is technologically aware and can learn and incorporate new technologies to make BaaN and other systems more efficient for our users.

Responsibilities:

Functional user support – responding to users’ issues, questions, or requests
Business Analysis – of the business requirements of users’ requests
Generating technical specifications – for recommended customizations
Technical liaison - Work with IT team to test and deliver BaaN related solutions to users
Training users – determining, recommending, and executing functional training

Experience and Skills:

Customer service and interpersonal skills – highly recommended
Good communication skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
BaaN functional experience – in the areas of Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing
Report writing experience – BaaN SQL, Crystal, Cognos, or other
Working experience with Windows, UNIX, Linux environments
Some database expertise – SQL, Oracle, Access, or other
Some programming expertise –VB, C++, or other
