Kendro Job Description
Title
h Information Technology Programmer/Analyst (VB/SAM)
Location
h Asheville, NC.
Reports To
h Director of Business Systems North America
Purpose
h Provide Information Systems support for Kendro Laboratory Products business systems
Functional Responsibilities
h Work with members of the Kendro business to gather requirements, document specifications, and develop/revise application programs for the appropriate system supporting the remote service and sales functions.
h Provide support for Kendro Information Systems to maintain appropriate levels of reliability and availability
h Identify, select, and install software tools in support of the applications environment
h Troubleshoot problems, recommend, and implement solutions for IT applications in both Windows environments.
h Assist in setting strategic direction for CRM applications.
Essential Functions of the Position
h Ability to travel to domestic and international Kendro facilities
Experience and Education
h A Bachelors degree or Associates degree in a computer related field. Work experience could be substituted for an actual degree
Experience Profile
Required:
h 5 - 7 years of Information Systems experience, a minimum of 2 ¡V 3 years with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications
h Experience in systems analysis and design
h Experience in leadership of technical projects
h Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
h Knowledge of NT and Windows operating systems, and Novell networks
h Skills in problem solving, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking
h Ability to work independently and as part of a team
h Good written and oral communication skills
Desired:
h Experience with Oracle databases and 4GL programming languages
h Experience with BaaN or similar ERP systems
h Experience with SalesLogix software
h Experience with remote field service organizations
