Kendro Job Description
Title
h Engineering Systems Analyst
Location
h Asheville, NC.
Reports To
h Director of Business Systems North America
Purpose
h Provide support for Kendro Laboratory Products Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CADCAM) software
Functional Responsibilities
h Support all CADCAM software and hardware.
h Maintain and execute a plan for the enhancement and upgrade of CADCAM systems, and keep CADCAM software, operating system, and database software at current release levels.
h Provide training for CADCAM users in both hardware and software.
h Hold regular user group sessions to enhance the system and business processes.
h Technical Lead for projects within the Information Systems/Engineering function.
h Identify ways to streamline the Engineering processes to improve productivity.
h Provide support for worldwide CADCAM integration
Essential Functions of the Position
h Ability to travel to domestic and international Kendro facilities
h Some lifting of computer equipment up to 40 pounds
Experience and Education
h Bachelors degree or Associates degree in an Engineering discipline, 3 to 5 years experience with computer aided design software could be substituted for actual degree
Experience Profile
Required:
h Experience with mechanical design including the use of a 3D modeling package.
h Experience installing and updating CADCAM packages
h Experience with Product Data Management or Product lifecycle Management
h Experience leading multiple computer based projects
h Experience in analyzing business processes and streamlining and documenting new processes
h Ability to set and maintain long term system plans in the engineering CAD environment
h Ability to work independently and as part of a team
h Good written and oral communication skills
Desired:
h Knowledge of HP Visualize and Kayak workstations
h Knowledge of Pro-Engineering and Unigraphics applications
