I want to setup excise tariff rates in Ln FP7 but not able to understand the process to do. Can someone help me which session should be used and how can I do the setup.

If you are tring to create specific tax by items you might tey uisng tax exceptions tcmcs1138m000 and then asociate it to a GEOCODE - TAX CODE.

I want to undersand the concept. like in the older version we need to create a traiff code and the excise percentage were linked with traiff codes. is it the same concept used to setup the excise percentage in FP7. Reason being while doing the setup the tariff codes I didn't get the place to setup the prcentage.

I just want to be sure I am following all the steps.

Yes procedure is quite similar.

When you are in LN in session Tax codes by country tcmcs0536m000 and you add a new tax code then select the record just created and using "Specific" you could be able to define the percentajes of single tax or multiple tax, once defined you need to approve the tax for it to be valid.
