Job Description:
1) The person will be working on Baan 4c and BaaN ERP 5b/c on below technical
areas
• BaaN Patch Management
• Company Creation
• Company Refresh
• BaaN Installation
• Job Management
• Performance Enhancement
• Printer Management
• Baan Licensing procedures
2) A hands-on BaaN consultant will be responsible for the execution of the daily
tasks in managing the Flextronics BaaN Systems including troubleshooting,
proactive monitoring and maintenance, implementing policies & processes for
good upkeep of the BaaN ERP system. He/ She will be required to work with the
global experts from various technologies and platforms to ensure BaaN ERP is
fully functional.
3) The job duties are not limited to just the above. Employee would be required to
perform other tasks and activities assigned by the supervisors from time to time.
4) The employee is required to work in various shifts, including night shifts as per shift schedule designed by the supervisors.
Job Requirements:
1) Should have done at least 3 BaaN 5b/c implementations
2) Should have worked on multisite Baan Env. for IT services organization with time bound delivery/support model
3) Should have basic knowledge of Unix. Knowledge in scripting will be added advantage.
4) Should have basic knowledge of Oracle Database concepts. Knowledge of PL/SQL will be added advantage.
5) Prefer to have exposure to either of ERP Bolt-ons like Connectware, Deliveryware, Openworld, SOA, Agile, Webmethod, WMS systems
6) Prefer to have hands on knowledge on Tivoli Scheduling Tool
7) Minimum 5 years experience in BaaN
