In ERP Ln6.1 FP2, Can any body help me on the - WIP Item concept in subcontracting and its significance. (session -tcibd9137m00l) . Is it mandatory use it. As far as I know we need a Manufactured , Subcontracting and purchase (optional) type of items, in what scenario is this WIP Item used.

When we choose WIP item,tht item is blocked for transaction ,which signal will be given in Indian localization parametr-subcontracting
We can select this item in session WIP item(tisfc9136m00l) when our raw material is not direct item but a wip,i.e in process item.
