no it is not (atleast on IVc4 SCH1) , it is only a requirement if you want to use lot control.

Can you please give me any document or doc no. saying Location control is not required for Supply Chain?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about a document but I worked for on a sch1 system for 6 years without it. It is just a parameter when you setup the system. But make the right decision when you start as changing either way once it is live is not a simple process.

Hi,

If we set the parameter LOCATION CONTROL IMPLIMENTED AS "YES", can we work in the supply chain module.

Please clarify.

sastry

not sure if I understand what you are asking, in baan IVC4 there are a number of extensions to the standard version, they have additional VRC structures SCH1 is of these extensions. This adds supply functions like purchase/sales schedules amongst other. You can use this version of baan with or without location control turned on as long as the extension is installed.
