Dear All

has anyone in India, successfully implemented high availability on BaaN IVc4, with Windows and Oracle.
if yes, please advice the requisite hardware and versions of Windows, Oracle.

Also please advice the integrator for the purpose, if you have engaged one.

Hi,

We are in process of implementing high-availability/DR systems.

If you are asking requisite hardware, I can say, it must be equals to production environment.

But if you have budget issues and you can afford slow-down during failure and fixing process and would like to just achieve 100% recovery, then can have low configuration hardware.

We have implemented Oracle 9i Data Guard (Log based and Time based), we are using it on Win 2003 Enterprise.

You can get 'BaaN HA' licence from BaaN Support.

You can more search on Cloning, replication, DR systems, Fail-Over, Fail-Safe here on BB and on google.

Hope this helps.
