Hello,

The printing of many standard financial reports in LN to Excel device often does not display a readable format (due to shift in columns).

Just wondering if there is any sort of third party "Tool" or any other ideas on producing the standard LN report in Excel in a readable format? (ie. no need to further massage columns and data).

Have you checked out http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=69791&highlight=b2win. You can search b2win and get plenty of hits on the forum.

Yes, b2win should work for most reports. For some non-standard reports, you may need to re-write the reports or customise it slightly to be easily exported.

We also use external BI tools to regenerate the reports, but this needs other developing outside LN.

If you upgrade your tools from ln 10.5 to LN 10.7 you can then have nice new feature : report designer which is able to produce native excel file.
This tool is workbench. It can be lauch inside LN UI.
