I am new to baan and learning from scratch. In my company baan 4 has been implemented 10 years back. Now at this stage will the book "Implementing Baan IV by Yves Perreault" be useful for me to learn things or will it be better to learn hands on by using the help sessions and by practice?!.Please advice me

Hi,

Are you looking for Technical or Functional?

If you are looking for a functional guide, it will be better if you have a standard documentation for every module and then you can guide your own way to try different things under different scenarios. Not sure about Baan IV, but LN comes up with Documentation. You can check it out with Infor if you still are in touch.

On the technical side, you can have a lot of ways to learn.

To start off, you can use :-- Programmer's Manual (http://www.baanboard.com/programmers_manual_baanerp)
