I am a Baan V user and would like to know if there any any major changes to the technical side of Baan with the Ln Version. Specifically Tools and Development.

There are so many differences in LN from BaanV like, in LN, its easier to customize. With Data Access Layer 2 (exentension of DAL from BaanV), it is much easier to write customization code.Besides, Ln6.1 provides a much better documentation on the DLL files to enable you to reuse the functions it already provided.The user interface is better.
With dashboards, users can easily access related information with a
single main session. Forms have been made dynamic...Labels can be compiled. There are so many other smaller changes that makes LN a much better product...
