I guess that is the nature of the creature. If someone else doesn't like your entry, it is rather easily removed again. Wiki's always have their pro & cons.

Someone really doesn't like that link...
But Wiki's are not for someone's LIKEs and DISLIKEs...its an information base...it must not have any concern with what I like and what I don't...but what is right and informative...and its an untold truth that whenever it comes to any kind of assistance regarding Baan, baanboard is always the first preference...so I hope our Board is in such a stage that if it looses to get a one reference from one web location, the board wont loose its importance...

Baanboard's survival will not depend on Wikipedia. I had a look at the history and discussion pages to the "Baan" article on Wikipedia and I found a reference to a policy that recommends avoiding external links to forums & social networking sites: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:EL#Links_normally_to_be_avoided
