Hi all,
I have just found the Tetris game for baan in this link (http://mrand.name/tetris/tccomtetris.txt).
It works on Baan IV.
Have fun!

The script works on Baan IV, it will need some tuning to work on Baan V.

Well George,
Since you are at it, I would suggest to also make it work for LN :).

No Problems to get it running with LN, only the DsCLabel object is different.
And the layout has to be adjusted.

Yes, dsclabel object is different and because of that you will get hundreds of BW messages, but it "works"!

Dear baanboard,
is it somehow possible to add sound to tetris with baan tools?
(e.g. to send a beep with frequence)

Kozure

Check this thread (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13068&highlight=Beep) about adding beep

Our sales and productivity are WAY up thanks to this very useful session. Does anyone know if you can fill buttons with color like the polygons used in this program?

Are you talking about a 4GL session that has a button?
Or did you build your own 3GL object and added a button there?

It is a 3gl session. There is no fillcolor attribute on DsCpushbutton. It would be nice in some cases.

You are right. There is a DsNpixmap attribute in DsCdrawnButton object. It lets you put an image on the button. Give it a try...

For all the shits and giggles that this brings, I consider this a BRILLIANT piece of Baan coding.
Thanks for sharing.

I consider this a BRILLIANT piece of Baan coding.
That's why I shared it and put it under the Code & Utilities forum but it was moved here...

George,
I moved it here because the post did not actually contain any source code but rather just a link. I think the author of the game is also a Baanboard member but obviously has not spotted the thread yet :)

Hello baanboard
I am the author. Its difficult to me to write english, so i prefer to write baan code rather than to post messages here.
There are lots of baan thins on my site, but all of them are in russian.

very interesting!!!
But should one tell me how to create the game on BaaN IV? Need to create session, then put the program script? if session is needed, it is a graphic session?

Thank a lot. It works. Really amazing!!! :D
I dont think there is another ERP can do same stuff w/ such "simple" coding.
I just try it on Unix system. I will try it on NT later. Hope it works as well.

Hi pokitlok und Dick,
actually all you need to do is to create a new 3GL Script say tccomtetris and copy the script to it, compile and then run it using run program from Menu and entering otccomtetris.
