Hi,

We are using BaaN IVc4 with is4 localisation. We want to implement Finite Scheduling module in our BaaN. Is this module an add on product or it comes with the base product ? Also, we want to know the technical prerequisites and setup requirements to implement this module. If possible, can someone please provide us the documentation.

Thanks and regards,
Kaustubh

In the Enterprise Planning module in Baan there is rule based finite planning on planned orders. This is standard and basic
Scheduler is the add on for finite scheduling of the production orders - Short term.
Planner in the add on for finite scheduling on a meduim to long term basis.

Hi there,
I don't know, if the Baan4-Planning against finite ressources is working.
You can find it in the menu under "Constraint Planning". In Baan5 and LN it works, but it is better to get some training by a consultant, who has implementad this package more than once! It is not easy to use...
Alternativly there is the SSA Scheduler, which is an Add-On from the SCS-Suite. That works fine.
Of course you can use external Add-Ons like GTT FAST/pro (www.gtt-online.de) or others.

Hi,

Thanks for you response. I am looking into the Deployment and Installatiion guide of Supply Chain Scheduler, which is an add-on to Baan IVc4.
