Hi,

Can anybody provide reference or information on how to go about auditing the users in BAAN . I understand that the two licensing types in BAAN are Named users and Concurrent users. Are there any other parameters besides these two?
Also where can I find basic product information on BAAN Collaboration, BAAN IV Cable, BCSS, Supply Chain Scheduler. Any idea what Cash out to Bull is?

Thanks!

BaanIV has two user types: Normal and Super. Nothing to do with Named and Concurrent...

What exactly do you want to audit? Please clarify!

Hi,

I dont mean the user types by authorization. but metrics used for licensing. Is there a mechanism to find out the number of concurrent user sessions to the BAAN system i.e. a transaction, user table that could provide me with this information. Please advise.

Look at your licmon6.1 options to see if there is a -s flag (show statistics), these are the only statistics associated with licenses that you can have.
You can check the ammount of users connected (licenses used) using -w.
Search the threads on "licmon" or "license statistics" for more on this.
