I'm looking to take baan courses (tools,etc ) here in New york on Long island. I'm currently using baan 4c.
Can someone recommend any place on long island where the these courses may be given.

You may want to give RMCis a call. Although they are in Chicago, they provided us with on-site training in IVc4 Tools/Admin for a very reasonable fee. The instructor was very skilled and we were very impressed.
