Hi all,

I read some interesting news items lately, talking about two companies migrating from Baan to SAP, both in the UK.

Both projects have went into trouble, and may have caused the business to suffer.

Check this story about AMD - http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18110

Here is one about MFI - http://www.silicon.com/research/specialreports/enterprise/0,3800003425,39123930,00.htm

Unrelated Baan but interesting nevertheless: the biggest SAP botch-up of recent times that grinded HP's ordering system to a halt and which clumsy implementation costed HP a whopping $400 million: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/08/18/hpworld_users_react/
