Hi,

Are there any customers for Baan Gemini?? Is it released?

Any first hand information on Baan Gemini will be valuable.Any white papers I can get??

I need this information to recommend Baan Gemini for a client who is running on Baan V.

I attended the Baan Users Conference in the UK last month. The guy from SSA who talked about SSA ERP LN (New name for Gemini) gave a list of companies that have been a beta site for this version or have been involved in this way or another in giving close feedback about it.

You may want to contact SSA office and get the full list.

Hi,
LN will launch at 31.07.2004.
points as far as i can remember.
- you can create kind of customized items without a project, so you have a stock in your warehouse
- you have a central pricebook for all items
- in the sales order for example you have sales order header and on the same form you different Tabs for the Lines and all the procedure steps so you can start the print order ackno. from the same form. and you can choose to proceed the procedure steps automaticly.
There are two engines available.
1. to convert DD
2. to get the customizations in LN
There were some other things but I forgot.

sorry, LN is another name of Baan 6 but means the same.
it will be used in the futere, most likely.

One of the big customers for the SSA ERP LN product is Boeing, which will be the manufactoring platform for their new 7E7 Dreamliner airplane program. Boeing has been testing a beta version of the Gemini product for the last 12 months and after evaluation they decided to go for the SSA ERP LN product.
