As I know Baan Open World contains a XML-Gateway.
I would like to know, how this Gateway works.
In the way of EDI where you need jobs in Baan to start Import/Export to directories and a program outside of Baan to do file transfers between different server?

Where I can get technical information about functionality of Baan Open World?

You can use Baan Openworld Broker to connect to messaging systems like IBM MQ Series or Microsoft Message Queue to pull and push XML documents from the queue.

I recently worked on a project where EDI files were used as source and converted into XML documents (output) with some data translation using Baan Openworld Broker.
