I just reviewed the latest service packs for Baan Vb and Vc and came across the fact that Schedules for Purchasing and Sales have been disabled. There is no mention that it was replaced by another process or package. What's up with this? Can anyone give me some backround on this rather puzzeling action?

There is a note in the SP6 release notes that says that the Purchase/Sales Order Schedules in 5.0c will no longer be supported and is therefore disabled. Can't tell you why though.

Schedules in both 5b and 5c have been disabled primarily because the functionality as built does not exactly meet automotive industry requirements. This functionality will not be supported, however, it still exists as is in both versions of the product.

Due to several problems with schedules and EP Baan has deiced not to support this functionality. If you are currentley using schedules and EP in Baan Vb be careful…
