Freight management in LN FP7. This module is totally new to us so bear with me please. Just started reading up on it.

Is anyone using this to help, for example, a Sales person to estimate shipping costs to a customer ?

1.freight costs are retrieved from a carrier rate book in Pricing and are updated eachtime a change is made to an order, shipment, or load.
2. When the sales invoice is released to Invoicing,with the calculated amount on the sales order (delivery) line, the freight invoice is also released toInvoicing. In Invoicing, the order invoice is merged with the freight invoice and sent as one invoice.
3.If the freight invoice is released to Invoicing before the sales invoice is released, one invoice is sent forgoods sold and one for goods transported.
