An urgent query. Do we require Baan finance users to logoff before we run Close Year Provisionally (tfgld6201m000). Earliest reply will be appreciated

Its not necessary for users to be logged off in order to run the provisional close.

You can do it when they are still logged on.

Regards

All your financial periods should be closed so there will be no possibility of users work in the year you are closing. This would be the only reason I can think of to keep users off the system.
