Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the Fixed Asset Module in BaaN, as we don't use it anymore.
If this possible, which is the procedure to follow?
Thanks,
Erik

Hi,
Which version of Baan are you using.
In Baan5c -FAM Parameters, there is a field called-Allow suppress journal entry, which can be used to make the FAM module as a standalone system.
In Baan4 -The best way will be to change the ledger account codes used for fixed assets.(since Fixed assets integration indicator should be Not applicable,so that system won't prompt for any fixed assets details to be filled in-same for baan 5 also).
Use the simulation module for all depreciation cal
culations and don't use the post FAS transactions to GLD session...
