In our company we are not using reporting periods.Can we use reporting periods to reflect a weekly image of financial periods for Financial Statement purposes?

The purpose of reporting periods is to enable getting financial reports for different requirments of financial periods than the standard fiscal periods.
For example special corporate requirments.
So you can actually define 52 reporting periods in a year and use the reporting periods for reports on weakly basis.

U can use reporting period get results weekly in FST .

However the general performance of the finance sessions may degrade if your update mode is real time /end of session.

So you may use reporting periods only if absolutely necessary . I have seen compnies deleting reporting period usage using tfgld0290m000.
