Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to bulk transfer a number of fixed assets from one group (tffas004.ngrp) to another.

I have checked which tables reference this field.....

tffas007 and tffas110.

(009, 015, 016, 019 not populated)

Question is, if I change the group data with GTM, Exchange, SQL, or whatever, will I lose data integrity or auditing?

Running BaaN IVc2, Informix, HPux.

Appreciate any help!

You can do it. You don`t lose data integrity or auditing.

1) You muss post all your integrations in FAS
2) After step (1) you can change change via MGT.
3) The new integration will be with the new group.


I have done it, in Baan IV C2 via MGT and I haven`t had any problem.

I will talk to Finance re: postings.
I am still considering SQL to bulk update as it's less work
(392 assets to transfer!)
I've also checked the SQL against the test company with no problems.
