Can anyone explain me what is the meaning of “Line of Business?”

My opinion on line of business is the segment, product line of the any organization.

Hi Chitaranjan,

This is the group of Business Partners who are in same business sector.
Ex:- OEM, Dealer, Trader, Consultant etc…

Line of business is not a Baan / Ln terminology. It is an generic term used in the Industry to say to what industry the company belongs to. For example, Petroleum and gas, FMCG, Pharma etc. This is how i have used this filed till date.
