Instead of waiting for the vendor to send us the credit note, we wish to create debit note in Baan and send it to vendor.

May I know if there is functionality to create a Purchase Debit Note in Baan Vc ?

Since the accounting entries are the same, my only thought is to create a seperate transaction type similar to Purchase Credit Note and use it for debit note.

Please share your thought.

Please use transaction type , having transaction category "Purchase Credit Notes", the main & next sessions are tfacp1110s000 & tfacp1120s000.

Hi,

Yes you can use separate transaction type same as credit note. However dont forget to tick negative amount allowed checkbox. Unfortunately there is no separate functionality is available for purchase debit note.
