Sorry for making this thread alive again, but finance consolidation can be done with the FST (Financial Statement) module.
Since the publishing of solution 244060 it is also possible to consolidate multiple company data of all companies within the same package combination. So I am not sure if that will help you, it could be if the different VRC's are in the same package combination.
