Dear Support,

I was asked by my chief financial officer to create period 13 for internal adjustment and period 14 for auditor adjustment for financial year 2009 which ending date is 31 August 2009.
Please someone guide me how to create, and what is the maximum period allow by the system.

Hi,

There is no restriction on the number of periods in Baan. I know customers who have defined each week as a period.

For you to have period 14, this change will have to be done in Company parameters. GTM would have to be done to change it from 13 to 14

Then from Maintain periods session, you will have to add period 14 and then maintain the status of the same.

Hi We use period 13 for adjustments and period 14 is used by the system for year end roll over of P&L Balances.
