We are running Baan 4c4 and are thinking of changing our functional currency. Has anyone done this and what challenges/issues did you encounter? Given all of the historical data that needs to be considered isn't it just better/easier to setup a new Baan company? Thanks

In the European versions of Baan 4c4 you have the Euroconversion sessions.
With these sessions you can not only convert a currency to Euro, but I think you can also convert a Non Euro Currency to an other Non Euro Currency.
These Euro conversion sessions convert all tables to the new Home Currency.

This can maybe help you. Try to do a test.
