Hi,

We are using LN6.1 FP2. I have a question regarding Interim-Statutory and Interim -Compliment tab(Form) in company parameter. It requires to define account for Fiscal Period Change-Original and New in Interim Account -Statutory/Both and Interim Account - Statutory/Local.

Do any one help me explaining the purpose of that. During what transaction and at what point of time the account linked there is used.

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Telling from BaanIV experience and may be some more detail around this explanation exists in Ln .

Fiscal period change are generated when period on a document line differs from batch fiscal period (in order to keep batch balanced in all period ).

Interim closing is an B/S account to which all P&L balances at year end gets transferred :)and P&L a/cs become zero .

Hi Hitesh,
Thanks for the reply. You are right in saying that in LN there may be some more detail around this.

I am looking for the explanation in detail.

I hope some one can further contribute in it.

The Interim- Statutory and Compliment for the moving balance ofthe difference periods.
The ledger account used for unbalanced transactions with transaction lines from two different periods.
I think these clearly for you..
