Dear all gurus,

Just would like to check whether any idea why when trying to dispose the fixed asset, system will prompt error as per attached.

Even though all the periods are with Open status in Finance. And Calendar also updated.

Pls advice.

The error report is dated 09-05-28 (28-May-2009).

What did you set as the disposal date? The error report says that the fiscal period corresponding to 2005-10-01 (01-Oct-2005) is not defined. Are you really trying to register a disposal that occured over 3 years ago? It looks like an incorrect date was entered for the disposal date.

This is new implementation, and the data is transfer in from old system.
The disposal date is current date, the 2005-10-01 is the service date for the asset.

Hi Tebby,

I had the same error, and we have seen that normally it occurs when the fixed asset in table tffam110.curd and tffam110.last is incorrect or there isn't information.

Please check that!

Hi Tebby,

This problem happened when you are uploading opening data into tffam100,tffam110, etc. in your case system is checking last depreciation date for asset. please check last asset date is available in the system.
