On transactions like a purchase and a sales order currency rate information is stored. This are rates between transaction currency and the home currencies. So making a change to the homecurrencies (reference, local, reporting 1 and reporting 2) will corrupt the currency rates stored on the orders. Therefor always the Currency Initialization module must be used for this kind of changes in a live company.
