Hi all,
I am new to Baan. I want to import trial balance in Baan into an external program and I want to use the data to make further calculations. How do i do it? Can anyone please help me out with some information on the same.

There are 2 options .
1. Take the output of tgld3402m000 without headers into an ascii file and use the same in ur external program.
2. Use table tfgld201 and tfgld203 as data source in ur external application and maniuplate those tables to get the trial balance figures .
Think 2nd option is more suitable .

Dear Hitesh,
Thank you very much for your help on the same. Can I ask the developer to connect the external system to Baan so that they both share the same DB. I am using Baan IVC4 in5. My OS is Unix and DB is Informix.

Think its ok to use Informix ODBC connection to Baan tables . If u need dimension information then there are other tfgld20? tables also.
