Hi,

Our country is going to cut 3 digits from the local currency; i.e., an amount of 785,329.54 LC, will be converted into 785.33 NLC. This will apply to any monetary amount.

I've heard currency conversions have been performed in installations of Baan in some countries. If someone can tell me something about the way this can be achieved, I will appreciate a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You can look into the currency initialization module. I think you can define a new currency and convert from the existing local currency to the new one utilising this module. There is a Baan document U7146D US explaining that module.
