here we have used foreign currency, when we passed the transaction of purchase approval it shows difference of -0.01, and batch is not finalised due to difference of -0.01, please suggest the solution.

What version are you on? It sounds like it could be a bug on the approval session.

We used to suffer from this problem occasionally running on 4c3.

At the time we'd use GTM in tfgld102 and change the amount fields in order to get the batch to balance.

The long term solution is to update match and approval sessions. I think there is a generic solution from BGS for these sessions.

Use the Display Currencies (tcmcs0502m00) sessions and check the rounding factor for the currency it should be 0.01.

If not 0.01 - then Baan has a list of steps to fix the problem after re-setting the rounding factor.

There has been a long-term (Triton III through Baan IVc4) problem with .01 (“penny”) rounding errors involving foreign currency conversions in AP. Usually it is occasional as Neal says. For a long time Baan support “fixed” the problem by GTM.

Confirm that the rounding factor for the currency is correct as mentioned above and then check with BGS to be sure that you have the correct solutions including current match & approval sessions.
