hi,

I hit this error when I try to finalize a batch:

Process 117 - Fatal error : Retry Failed (during error 100 (Duplicate value) on tfgld102802)

Process 117 - Fatal error : Cannot continue in tfgld1213s000 in DLL: otfgldd110061 (<4>)[retry.point]

The batch cannot be found under Transactions (tfgld1101m000),

I can find the batch number in Select Batches for Finalization (tfgld1110s000), but when I click the "Finalize..." button, this error prompted out

When I go to Global Selection of batches for finalization (tfgld1210m000), I can select the batch number from the listing, but system prompt me "0 batches selected for finalization"

Anyone have any idea what happen?

Regards,
CT

Step 1 Check tfgld100 for status and run number, most probably problem is there
Step 2 Check tfgld102 if record is there for the batch.
Step 3 Check tfgld106 if records have reached there.
Step 4 Run restrt finalization run session for the batch.

Tell me if you can still not resolve.

H

hi,

Below my finding:

In tfgld100 (step 1) status = "Ready", run number = 42

In tfgld102 (step 2) - record did exists here

In tfgld106 (step 3) - no documents here

Run restrt finalization run session for the batch - "Not an aborted finalization run"

Please advice further action.

Look like problem in transactions...

Try to finalize again... i
In case of Windows check the event log for the error..
It will give the exact transaction which is giving this duplicate error.

Else run session ttstperrlog and look for log.bhell.

Please check the type transaction and document you are trying to finalize in tfgld102 or in the session tfgld1401m000. The problem you probably have is that in tfgld106 exist the same document. For solution you should modify the document number in tfgld102 and tfgld018 and the last number used by document in tfgld0114m000.
Depending on the type transaction you should modify in more tables (tfacr200 or tfacp200)

Hi,

I don“t know Baan LN, but in Baan IV there are some programs I would try...

tfgld1116m000 Change interrupted Batch Status
tfgld1117m000 Change interrupted Finalization Run Status (from "in use" to "free")
or
tfcor0203m000 Finalization Run for records left in gld102 (ascii-form).
Often these programs are not in the normal menu, but you can start them with Menu/ File/ Run Program. In most cases one of them fixes the problem.

Maybe there are programs like this in Baan LN, too?
