Hi,
we are using BaaN IVc4. A few months ago we added a new line of products for sale.
We added a new dimension for that.
But when trying to integrate got an error of "invalid dimension", in other threads i see that we need to include the dimension in the session
tfgld0109m000 with the ledger account...
i did that. 2 of 3 of the errors went out, but i still have an "invalid dimension" error. it's a record with the new dimension so i think it must be related but i don't understand what could be happening...
any idea?
regards,
Jaime Casanova

hi jaime,
Are you seeing this error in the session Display Integration Transaction Log {tfgld4532m000}? If so, whats the Transaction Origin and Financial Transaction? Did you check out the Options By Integration Element session?

yes

4 (sales)

24 (invoice sales)
ps... i'm translating my BaaN is in spanish
> Did you check out the Options By Integration Element session?
yes. but i'm not sure what i'm looking for... something i'm sure is that no body has changed nothing there and other transactions (same origin, same financial) that use the same account and the same new dimension were integrated...

Hi Jamie,
I think you need to maintain Integration relation for the new dimension by integration options.
main session code is tfgld4121m000, then maintain integration relation by element or range, depend on your method setting in tfgld4121m000.
you can check the exist records in this session , I think you will know how to do it.

Alex

Invalid Dimension occurs if the Dimension is not maintained in Dimension Ranges By ledger Account - tfgld0509m000
Check it out

Jaime,
You must have created a Sales Integration Element in session Maintain Integration Elements {tfgld4120m000). Drill into this Sales Element and check out if you have defined the dimensions properly for each Integration Option you have defined in session Maintain Options By Integration Element {tfgld4121m000}. Chances are you might not have done a mapping (defined a dimension code) for the new line of product you have created.
