Can anyone let me know what is the depreciation method used in Switzerland?

Hello,

I should think that "straight line" and "NBV oriented" are the common methods being used in real life.

Kai, thanks for the reply. But we have been given to understand that the depreciation rates changes every year, for e.g. in year 1 it can be 10% and in year 2 it can be changed to 12% and so on. Does such a case exist in Swiss and if so how is it handled?

Also can you please let us know is Commercial type of book used in Swiss?
