Does anyone know if when creating a statement layout, the statement accounts are sorted by statement account or if there is another way to sort the layout e.g. by sequence number.

I have the statement accounts representing the ledger accounts but want to group the statement accounts in a different hierarchy to that of the Chart of Accounts.

you can have differenct set of hierachy in financial statement and that
can be attached to chart of account.

It is possible please chek the same .
