I would use exchange. If so be careful how you set up the exchange so that you get the text transferred correctly as well. Just exporting and importing the tables with the session Create Sequential Dumpof Tables will bring the text number from the dev system to the prod system and you will get some pretty wierd text. After you have all the tables brought accross don't forget to re-generate the financial statements.
