We have got the error " Error in reading sort file record :22 fields scanned,59 expected " in the session (tfgld111s000):Select lots for finalized .Does anyone an idea what has caused this error and how I can resolve this?

I've found that the problem is usually caused by corrupt data, usually a numeric value in a field that has been corrupted.

this is a problem of sort error. its more of a tools problem rather than finance problem. however, for precautionary purpose, pls run rebuild ledger / dimension history.

- Is there an easy way on how to find the corrupt record? How can it be corrected?
- In which table do we have to look for a corrupt record?
- Can it be corrected via the session "ttaad4225m000" Reorganize tables?

I have found the error after some debugging. We had a client (tccom010) with a strange name (tccom010.nama) "blabla bla bla \n blalbal" this caused a CR when the tmp file was created.

When the report read the file that line was than too short and caused the error message.
