I am a logistics consultant and I am looking for some creative help with Financial Integration mapping for one of the processes that I am designing.


The process is for repair/replacement for company ABC, where an end customer will ship a defective laptop to ABC, and ABC will send a replacement laptop from the inventory back to the customer. ABC will later repair the defective laptop and stock it in the inventory.

I am trying to use Baan sales orders to create a negative line and
a positive line for for receiving ans shipping these units.

My question is: Is there a way I can receive the defective
laptop on the negative line and take the financial transaction to AP instead of AR?

Why AP? U can book it to AR as a credit note .
