Hi,

I am using the FAM with only one financial, depreciable book.
To make it a required and posting book, using the FAM parameter session. When selecting book parameter and select this book as a required book it asks to use a template which must be a requied book.

I can't make a required book without a template and I can't make a template without a required book.

How can i solve this problem and select the only financial book as a posting book.

Are you talking about session tffam0100s000 (Books)?

If yes... you must set up 2 books as Mandatory. Both, must be "depreciable book", but... maybe you can set up a depreciation method as: "None" in one of them.

But I found that I should set this book before entering any data in the assets, otherwise I can't set it in the first time.

I solved this problem in the GTM.

Session tffam0100s000 is in table 010 and I changed the book to “required”.
